Palette Play Nostalgic Foliage

My second attempt at #paletteplay is inspired by my love of fall and the memories it evokes. I went for color schemes that matched the gold and brown tones associated with fall in New England.

The initial color palette choice was very toned down. But I found that the color combination was very hard to play with and didn’t produce a lot of vibrant pieces.

After trying several pieces with the palette, I found the overall scheme a bit muddy. I decided to go back to having a bit of a “pop” by introducing a more saturated pink, a vibrant gold, and combining the green and blue into a rich tone.
