Alternative Sci-Fi Movie Poster Design Challenge 2020
I’ve been wanting to do a sci-fi movie marathon in September for a long time but it’s usually my travel month. This year, with the pandemic, it doesn’t look like I’ll be going anywhere so I decided to pick this design challenge up (after a long talk with my friends). I’ve created a palette (with lots of color options) and am using a typography set I designed 2 years ago.
The design will be positive negative ambiguity style, which was something I did 3 years ago for horror movies.
For this month, I set up a color palette which I felt was like honey dijon with a hint of lavender.
Aside from the images, I also did an Instagram poll to see if people could see the different images in the ambiguous art I designed.
